Long overdue update!

Has it really been more than a month since we returned from Grangeville?  Man time is just flying by!  The kids start back to school in less than a month; it feels like they just started summer break! 

At the Blue Lake Splash Pad!

Sweet P is becoming quite the daredevil!  She has mastered climbing onto our dining room chairs (which are pub height) and a few days ago she climbed the ladder on Hunter's bunk bed and got up onto the top all by herself!  She has no fear!  Grandpa sent her a new rocking horse that she absolutely loves!  She gets on it and rocks as hard as she can singing "weeeeeeee" the whole time!

As of the second week of July, Sweet P is completely weened off of the 3 B's ~ bottle, boob and binky!  Woo Hoo!  She is starting her potty training too! She has gone pee pee on her potty chair several times now!  It is just so hard to believe that she is becoming so grown up!  We are still awaiting those upper teeth; she is almost 16 months old and only has her 2 front bottom teeth!  She seems so advanced at everything BUT growing teeth!  I think they will come through any day now though, her upper gums are starting to look weird and she chews on everything!

J and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary on July 15th!  We just had a nice dinner downtown followed by a walk along the water on Marine Drive.  It was a really nice, relaxing evening.

In other big news, Z has returned to Oregon!  This was one of the hardest secrets that I have ever had to keep!  He told me back in May that he had been approved for a job transfer, but he wanted to surprise everyone else!  J figured it out, but we managed to shock the heck out of Dawn & Scott and the Wallis family!  He arrived yesterday and will be leaving early in the morning to start his new job.  He thinks that he will either be living in The Dalles or just across the river in Washington!  With his arrival, he finally met Sweet P for the first time.  She was wary of him yesterday, but has warmed up to him today!  We are so very happy to have him so close again!
